I really believe that the release of Zuttah is the precursor for another big signing. Think about it, we have NO depth at Center now and are thin at G. There is no way we are making all of these signings to "hope" that a drafted G or C will pan out. We are building to win now. Zuttah, for the flaws he had, offered depth and I believe would have taken a pay cut. Saying that, I'm believing that his release could be in an effort to get another big name guy and what better than DJax.Here is why: we are not going to get Watkins in the draft, Oakland signed Schaub and will draft Sammy. If we sign DJax it will enable us to sign either a T 7th overall or trade down and select a G, C later. What you then have are two positions of need filled.Just my thoughts.
