Buccaneers and starting CB Zyon McCollum reached agreement today on a three-year, $48 million extension that includes $35.4 million guaranteed, per his agents Drew and Jason Rosenhaus and Robert Bailey. McCollum is now under contract through the 2028 season.
Good deal and it looks like the Bucs plan for this team is coming to fruition. Next year with a lot of dead cap space coming off they can really do a lot for roster building.
Once again the Bucs get a good deal by taking care of this now. If they let McCollum approach free agency the price goes up. On McCollums part he gets the guaranteed money and God forbid he has a major injury he is still taken care of. Next up Logan Hall? Hall is not a fan favorite, but he's a solid member of the run stopping line. If he gets to free agency the Bucs will be priced out. I think he'll be the next domino to fall. Then Otton and that will allow the Bucs to focus on Mayfield next offseason.

Couple people claiming he will have a big year this year. After having 5.5 sacks last year, maybe.
Don't know who will get the sacks, but if they can put on the pressure without blitzing extra guys that would be the goal. I don't know what the cap situation is, but with Vita getting older and if they let Hall move on that creates a big need on draft day. Even if they resign Hall you could still see the Bucs drafting a DT as high as Round 1 next year. Vita's foot issues might be a wake up call and we hope he can make it through the year at full speed.Hall is not a fan favorite, but he's a solid member of the run stopping line.

Two agents? How bizarre
wonder how that split works lol. Especially with a power house like drew.
Hall is a JAG. Let him walk and take the comp pick
