Read-Option: Jameis Anyone?
Jameis Winston is back in the Buccaneers’ facility. If we’re being honest, those three weeks without him could’ve been a lot more painful for this team to endure.
The Bucs’ next test is against a much improved Bears team in Chicago, and one of the league’s best defenses.
It’s a simple question: Would you start Winston?

A short week? So what? He’s been with this team and these guys for three years. He knows the offense. He ran it in preseason where he looked pheonomenal. And the only thing difference about a short week is they just don’t have the extra day off. Winston doesn’t need to rest up, and the amount of practices are the same.
Maybe that’s your argument, or maybe you’re not about to let the FitzMagic go quite yet.
Can you really take the ball out of Ryan Fitzpatrick’s hands like that after on loss? After getting the Buccaneers the No. 1 offense in the NFL, averaging 473.3 yards per game, including 400.3 passing yards per game? After scoring at a higher rate than ever before, averaging 34 points per game, which is tied for third in the league?
Can you really do that?
Would you do that?
