Read-Option: Take or Break
You’ve heard my opinion, but now it’s time for us to hear yours.
North Carolina State defensive end Bradley Chubb is likely not going to be available with the No.7 overall pick. Let’s say you’re staying put at No. 7, if you’re the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Would Davenport as a selection cross your mind? Would you consider it? Heck, would you pull the trigger? Is the upside of having him on one side and Noah Spence on the other in a new 3-4 formation alluring enough to take a chance on the upside? Could be a heck of a tandem.

Would you take Davenport over Notre Dame guard Quenton Nelson?
Let’s open it up and say you can trade back. Are you taking Davenport over the likes of Washington defensive tackle Vita Vea? How about LSU defensive end Arden Key? Where does Davenport fall, in your mind, as a pass rusher in this class?
Is he a guy the Bucs should take their chances on as the next non-Power 5 pass rusher to become somebody?
Is he a name to be remembered?
