Read-Option: Reality Check Two Weeks In

I believed the Bucs would be 1-1 after two games, but I didn’t think it would be in the way it played out. I thought Tampa Bay was going to start the season 1-0 and then drop one at Carolina. Those results were flipped, and it’s probably better that way.

So it’s time for a reality check. Is this team any different, in your mind, now than they were before the season?

Let’s try to go easy on the negativity this week. After all this is your NFC South-leading Tampa Bay Buccaneers we’re talking about. What is something you’ve enjoyed through these first two games?

Finally – you can touch on this if you’d like – the NFC South just got a lot more wide open with Drew Brees’ thumb injury. Think Tampa Bay has a better chance to dethrone New Orleans than it did two weeks ago?
