Read Option: A Verdict Too Soon?
So, for the first time in a while we have a conflicting Cover 3.
On the first page we have a bit of a downer for Dirk Koetter. We looked over some of his previous stops and identified that once Koetter has his initial boost to an offense in the first year, he doesn’t exactly maintain that or even get it back at all. However, due to some unique factors, his time in Tampa Bay can’t be judged exactly like the others, which opens the door to some “what if” for his future.

Then, on the second page, we broke down a Winston performance that was one for the ages. Winston showed a ton of progress in the Monday night game against the Falcons, and if that’s the Winston that Koetter has coached up and the Bucs can get 16 games of that Winston or better next year, that might complicate things for some people in terms of whether they may want Koetter to stay or go.
So which side to you lean on more? Does Winston’s performance, as well as the performance of the rest of the team with all the injuries, make you re-think which side you’re on regarding keeping Koetter around?
Or, on the other hand, do you believe that he is who he is as a head coach, and even with a good performance, and other good performances in the past, he hasn’t been able to capture wins.
Which means more?
