• The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are still a value bet to win the NFC South for the fourth straight season if they can find the same formula as 2023.
• Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans has registered at least 1,000 receiving yards in his first 10 NFL seasons.
• Get the latest NFL odds and predictions for the Bucs ahead.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had the longest NFL odds to win the NFC South in 2023 and their backers cashed in after nine regular-season victories and beating Philadelphia in the first round of the playoffs.
The Buccaneers are not the longshot to win their fourth straight division crown this time around. However, there is some decent value (+320) for another run to the top of the NFC South and the tools are still there.
Baker Mayfield is coming off his best NFL season with over 4,000 yards passing and 26 TD tosses. The offensive line showed some improvement in 2023 and the defense was seventh in the league in points per game against (19.1).
It might be a stretch to put money on Tampa Bay to reach the Super Bowl (+3500), but its over/under number is very reasonable at 7 ½.
Receiver Mike Evans, running back Rachaad White and the Buccaneers sack attack could also be decent bets at BetUS Sportsbook as well.
3 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Betting Tips for 2024
1. Bet Buccaneers to Win South, Top 7 ½ wins

Many NFL predictions had Tampa Bay fading away after Tom Brady finally retired. No dice.
Baker Mayfield found his best form and the offensive line gave him time to keep drives alive despite the worst statistical rushing attack in the league. The Buccaneers played just well enough on defense and special teams to come close to reaching the NFC title game.
So, why can’t they do it again? The Bucs are getting +320 odds to win the NFC South, second behind the Atlanta Falcons (-145) and slightly lower than the New Orleans Saints (+375). Are the Falcons really that much better than the 7-10 team of 2023? They have to prove it.
The Saints and Carolina Panthers (+1100) don’t appear to be major threats as well. Time will tell, but the Buccaneers still look like the most complete team if healthy.
Mayfield is comfortable in Liam Coen’s offense and much of the defense is intact. Veteran linebacker Lavonte David, run-stopper Vita Vea, whip smart All-Pro safety Antoine Winfield Jr. and sack leader Yaya Diaby (7 ½) leading the way. Look out for defensive lineman Calijah Kancey as well.
Take Tampa Bay to do it again.

2. Mike Evans, Rachaad White Present Value In End Zone

The Buccaneers averaged the least rushing yards per game in the NFL last year, but Rachaad White still made quite an impact running and catching the ball.
White ran for 990 yards and six scores in 2023 while hauling in 64 receptions for 549 yards with three TDs. White averaged 4.2 yards per carry in the fourth quarter (most in any period) and 6.3 on third down. He is quite a value NFL pick to lead the league in rushing TDs (+6000). Make a small bet at those huge odds.

Mike Evans is getting up there in age (he turned 31 on Wednesday), but he still produces. The 6-5 receiver recorded at least 1,000 receiving yards in each of his first 10 seasons and caught 13 TDs in 2023. He is +1600 to lead the league in TD receptions after sharing the title with Tyreek Hill last year.
If Tampa Bay’s offensive line continues its progress, led by All-Pro tackle Tristan Wirfs, Baker Mayfield will find Evans in the red zone. Lock in those generous NFL odds.

3. Tampa Bay Is A Sneaky Good Bet As Sack Leaders

The Buccaneers defense tied for seventh in the league in sacks last season with 48 and may have more ammunition to move up the list.
Head coach Todd Bowles told reporters the outside linebacker position probably has the most depth. Yaya Diaby has the ability to improve his numbers after he gets healthy and rookie Chris Braswell has a chance to shine.
Under bettors were 12-7 in Tampa Bay games last season and it’s a good bet they could do the same in 2024 despite a rough schedule. But a bet on the Bucs to lead the league in sacks would be more profitable (+3500). Why not shoot for a big payday?
