Below are the questions that were asked in our mailbox for this week’s edition of the FANTASY MAILBAG.

Question: Jared Goff or Russell Wilson to start my line up?

Answer: Through the first three weeks of the season Jared Goff has out-produced Russell Wilson as a fantasy quarterback and I expect that trend to continue in week 4. Goff goes up against a Minnesota defense on a short week that was just shredded by Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills and while the Vikings have only allowed one passing touchdown per game thus far, I don’t expect that to continue on Thursday night against this Los Angeles aerial attack. Wilson goes up against an Arizona defense that has given up even fewer fantasy points to QBs and always plays the Seahawks tough, so the Seattle signal caller will likely find himself under more pressure on Sunday due to poor offensive line play and that will make him more prone to turning over the football too. Goff also figures to see more passing attempts this week with the Seahawks trying to run the ball more, so he would be my starter in this scenario.

Question: Start Chris Godwin or Quincy Enunwa?

Answer: I’m expecting both Chris Godwin and Quincy Enunwa to receive 8-10 targets this week but in this case I have to go with the most consistent performer with the most consistent fantasy quarterback. Godwin has scored a touchdown and put up at least 10 fantasy points in each of his three games this season while Enunwa’s point total has been declining since week 1, and I expect that trend to continue this week against the Jaguars. Enunwa will be going up against shutdown cornerback Jalen Ramsey and a Jacksonville defense that has given up the 4th fewest fantasy points to wide receivers this season, so Godwin is the much safer bet here.
