Hall of Fame quarterback Brett Favre was in attendance for Tampa Bay’s 31-17 win over Carolina at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday, and showed his support for the Bucs by wearing a “Tompa Bay” t-shirt that had Tom Brady’s likeness meshed with the old Buccaneer Bruce logo. Favre, who was a rival of the Bucs for years while playing for the Green Bay Packers in the 1990s and 2000s, was a guest of Brady and Bucs head coach Bruce Arians.
During the game, Favre was interviewed by NFL Films for an NFL highlights show called “The Grind” on Epix and compared second-year Bucs linebacker Devin White to a player that he battled for nearly a decade in the NFC Central – fellow Hall of Fame linebacker and Bucs legend Derrick Brooks. White finished with a game-high 15 tackles and leads the NFL with 26 tackles.
