DID NOT MEET
UTSA DE Marcus Davenport
Davenport burst on to the scene when he arrived at the Senior Bowl as one of the biggest and longest edge rushers there (6-foot-5). Teams certainly saw the potential and the flashes in his tape.
But, though the Bucs did meet with Davenport at the Senior Bowl, there was no confirmation that they did at the Combine, formal or informal.
Boston College OLB/DE Harold Landry
Landry is more of a 3-4 player, but would be a good one.
We learned that the Bucs have also not had a meeting with Landry thus far, and may not at all. Landry led the nation in sacks in 2016 with 16.5, but just might not be what they’re looking for, or perhaps they’re planning on taking a look at him later in the draft process.
Wake Forest DE Duke Ejiofor
With not many 4-3 defensive end option in this draft, we figured the Bucs may have taken a deeper look at Duke Ejiofor out of Wake Forest. Ejiofor had 43.5 tackles for loss and 24 sacks over his four years there.
At the Combine, though, they have not, as the two have not connected for formal or informal interviews.
