It was a hard fought comeback by the Bucs, but ultimately they lost 37-34 on a last second field goal. Head coach Dirk Koetter took to the podium after the game to address the media. Here is the full transcript from his postgame press conference.

(On Jameis Winston’s four interceptions and bringing in Ryan Fitzpatrick)
“I did (bring in Fitzpatrick), but it worked out the way it worked out. He (Jameis Winston) threw that long touchdown to DeSean (Jackson) so we waited a little bit longer.”

(On the explanation he got about the delay of game penalty at the end)
“Well he picked up the ball and ran it. The explanation given to me was that it was clearly down and the whistle blew, that was the explanation I got.”

(On the defensive improvement from the first half to second half)
“We just got the ball. They had 115 rushing yards on us in the first half and we jumped offsides four times. In the second half we did better in both areas, we stopped the run, they only had like 20 yards rushing in the second half. We didn’t tackle well, they were getting us with that same play, they were getting us on the open side A or B gap, so, we got to do better. That’s why defensive coaches talk about stopping the run all the time, that’s what they were getting on us in the first half.”

(On if Jameis Winston is still the starter for the rest of the year)
“We don’t need to talk about that. Today’s not the day I have to decide that right, I don’t have any problems making decisions and I’ll make it when the time’s right. But now’s probably not the right time to make it.”

(On what Jameis Winston’s biggest issue was today)
“That’s pretty simple, turning it over. Overthrows, it was a very windy day, not the easiest day to throw it, but two of the four the ball was just overthrown.”

(On if the defense did anything differently to adjust in the second half)
“Yeah, we did.”

(On what happened on the final drive that lead to the Bengals game winning field goal, and if it was just A.J. Green being a great player)
“Well if it was that easy they could of done that the whole game, so it probably wasn’t that easy. It was probably now they’re running their two-minute offense and they hit him down the middle. Obviously if they thought those plays were there, they would have run it more often.”

(On the job that Ryan Fitzpatrick did)
“Fantastic. Hats off, that’s why you got a veteran backup. He goes in after a pick-six, so he had about two minutes to warm and up, and went in there and played with composure and did a great job bringing us back.”

(On if he told Ryan Fitzpatrick at halftime to be ready)
“No.”

(On at what point Jameis Winston will realize that this team can’t survive with all those turnovers)
“I mean that’s a simple message. We were minus three last week and somehow eked out a win and we were minus four today, almost impossible to win.”

(On if Jameis Winston has taken a step backwards with his turnovers)
“We can’t turn it over seven times in two weeks. That’s not hard to see, that’s pretty obvious.”

(On Mike Evans’ performance in the game)
“Mike played very well, they did something they hadn’t done this year, they matched. They matched 22 on DeSean (Jackson) and 27 on Mike, our receivers and tight ends present matchup problems for teams, so the ball ended up finding Mike more today.”

(On if he has had any conversations with DeSean Jackson about him being unhappy with the offense after the report came out that Jackson requested a trade)
“Uh, frustrated, I don’t think he’d be alone in that. I’m frustrated so I would expect that he is too. All the best playmakers I’ve been around in my career, they want the ball, so that doesn’t surprise me. As far as requesting to be traded, I don’t know anything about that.”
