We have been tracking as many of the Bucs private visits as we’ve heard over the last month. We were made aware of players like Derwin James, Vita Vea, Jaire Alexander, Nick Chubb and quite a few more that all made their way down to One Buc Place. But, one player we knew the team was high on was absent from that list — until now.
On Wednesday, Buccaneers general manager Jason Licht confirmed that the team did host Penn State running back Saquon Barkley in for a private visit earlier in the month.
