Less than a month after the Bucs announced that they would be holding joint practices in Tampa with the Jacksonville Jaguars prior to their preseason matchup scheduled for Aug. 22, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that teams will now be required to remain at their own training facility for the entirety of training camp in 2020.
Here’s why all teams will be home for training camp: the NFL and NFLPA wanted to limit the need for travel and also limit the risk of maintaining two facilities. They wanted the focus all on one. Last year 10 teams had camp away from facility; this year, none. https://t.co/JtYuvbieHd

Schefter later followed the tweet up with another announcement from the NFL, stating that teams will not be permitted to hold joint practices this season.
And the NFL just sent a memo to teams informing them that they also will not be allowed to hold joint practices with other teams this summer either, per source. It had developed into a popular practice in recent years.

With the joint practices now officially cancelled, 2020 will mark the first preseason in which the Bucs haven’t held a joint practice since 2015. Tampa Bay previously held joint practices with the Jaguars in 2016 and 2017, the Titans in 2018 and the Dolphins in 2019.
