Remember last year when the Bucs were the media darlings of the NFL preseason? All training camp the Bucs were the hot team to break out, possibly win the division and sneak into the playoffs.
That didn’t happen.
This year people aren’t willing to get burned again, but the fact of the matter is, this Buccaneers roster is even better than it was last year when they were a trendy pick. Now, the Bucs are under the radar, and Kyle Brandt of NFL Network’s Good Morning Football says that’s a good thing.
Which team is flying under the radar heading into the 2018 season? @KyleBrandt 👉 @Buccaneers @PSchrags & @heykayadams 👉 @Colts@ReggieBush 👉 @Broncos

I think most Bucs fans would agree that after what they went through in 2017, all the overdramatized media hype needs to quiet down, so I believe most would shared Brandt’s sentiment.
Only thing is, by saying they’re an under the radar team on a nationally televized show you’re kind of, well, not letting them be under the radar.
But, regardless, less hype and more football is a good motto after what went down in 2017. That was Brandt’s point, and we agree.
