No. 10 Oakland Raiders (6-10)
The Pick: Minkah Fitzpatrick, CB/S, Alabama
This is pretty much best-case scenario for the Raiders. Yes, I’m sure some of the fans would also like Roquan Smith, but the Raiders have cornerback and safety needs and Fitzpatrick gives them the flexibility to fix whichever one is their weakest and immediately make it a strength.
Fitzpatrick doesn’t have a lot of outside cornerback tape from his three years at Alabama, but he does have a lot of playing time under his belt and the athletic tools to be an outside corner. If Fitzpatrick makes it this far down the line, the Raiders at No. 10 might very well be his floor. Linebacker and running back can be had in other rounds.
