The Packers will be riding into the 2018 season with a new defensive coordinator for the first time in almost a decade. Dom Capers ran an extremely unconventional and aggressive defensive style for the past few season for the Packers, and the personnel just couldn’t keep up with the creativity.
Green Bay has some nice defensive players, but they don’t have a shut down corner back. Jackson burst on to the scene this year with eight interceptions against some tough competition. At 6-foot, 195 pounds, he has the size and the mentality to play on the boundary for the Packers as they transition into a new defensive philosophy.
