The Pick: Calvin Ridley, WR, Alabama
Sixteen picks is a long time to wait for the first wide receiver to be taken, but there’s a chance it can happen – the class isn’t very top heavy. At the top, however, should be Ridley.
Some like to point out Ridley’s lack of stats and say that it’s a knock, but you have to take his run-first, RPO offense into account. Plus, look at who he’s had throwing to him. Jalen Hurts is not the best quarterback to boost your NFL stock. Ridley is older (will be 23 on draft day), but that’s fine. Baltimore needs him.
