The Pick: Derrius Guice, RB, LSU
The Lions could go a few different ways here, but it all depends on who is left on the board.
They need linebacker help, they need defensive back help and they need a little offensive line help, too. But, with this board falling the way it did they have the chance to take a superior talent at the running back position.
Guice’s 2016 stats and highlights are insane. When he came in for Leonard Fournette, Guice was hardly a drop off in production and even produced better than Fournette, at times. Although he got nicked up last year, Guice is the total package of speed, strength, vision and mentality. He can play from any kind of offense, and would be a Day 1 starter for the Lions.
