No. 23 Los Angeles Rams (11-5)
The Pick: Mike Hughes, CB, UCF
The Rams changing coaches improved a lot of things last season. Their offense, though not perfect in personnel, was more than functional as the No. 1 scoring offense in the NFL to end the regular season – nearly 30 points per game.
When you flip side, the Rams might have quite a bit of turnover this off season. They still have to sign Aaron Donald’s big contract, which they will, but they’ll likely lose cornerback Trumain Johnson and could lose Lamarcus Joyner and Nickell Robey-Coleman, too.
Hughes is a player who benefited from UCF’s run to the spotlight this season. He has legit size and ability to play as a shutdown corner back and seems to be rising up draft boards the more people watch his tape.
