In this scenario, I have the Indianapolis Colts moving from No. 3 back to No. 15 in exchange for the Cardinals first- and second-round pick in 2018, as well as a second-round pick in 2019.
All of that is to move up for what they believe is their quarterback of the future. Some mock drafts have Allen going as high as No. 1 overall. He needs some refining as a quarterback, but there’s no doubt the NFL loves his potential at 6-foot-5 and a huge arm to go along with it. The Cardinals have a new coach and a new regime. They’ll need a new quarterback with it. They’re a candidate to a trade-up, even if it’s not for Allen in the end.
