The Miami Dolphins could use a lot of things. What they really need is stability. It seems like one week the Dolphins can hang with the Patriots, the next they getting bum rushed by one of the weaker teams in the NFL.
Stability starts in the trenches, but the Dolphins have invested in their trenches over the last few years. What they need now is a linebacker who can command the middle of the field. Evans is the second most talented linebacker in the class after Smith. Evans does more rushing off the edge than Smith does, but he’s shown moments where he can be a middle linebacker, too. Adding him would give the Dolphins some needed impact and consistency.
