The Pick: James Washington, WR, Oklahoma State
The Bills have one heck of a luxury situation in this draft by picking back-to-back thanks to the Kansas City Chiefs and their deal to move up for Mahomes last year.
After using the pick they needed to on a trench player, the Bills likely turn to their offense with their second pick. It doesn’t look like this team believes in Tyrod Taylor at quarterback, so they’re likely moving on from him this offseason. That will leave a quarterback hole. They’d love to fix it in the draft, but most of the quarterbacks worth taking will likely be gone by the 20’s.
If that’s the case, look for them to improve their passing pieces for whatever quarterback they do get, whenever it happens.
