No. 28 Pittsburgh Steelers (13-3)
The Pick: Armani Watts, S, Texas A&M
The Steelers have some decent players in their secondary, but I don’t see many true difference makers.
Watts ran next to Justin Evans in 2016 and both together were one of the more athletic duos in the country. When Evans declared for the draft last year, many thought he was athletic and instinctive, but wasn’t disciplined. That’s the same narrative around Watts this season. However, Evans was able to get over that very quickly and became a big time playmaker for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in his rookie season.
Trust the coaching and trust that Watts can do the same.
