No. 29 Jacksonville Jaguars (10-6)
The Pick: Lamar Jacklon, QB, Louisville
Executive Vice President of Football Operations Tom Coughlin isn’t an idiot. Just because the Jaguars are having a great playoff run doesn’t mean there aren’t obvious shortcomings at the quarterback position.
The Jaguars are likely to be big players when Teddy Bridgewater become a free agent this offseason, but if they can’t get their hands on him and most of the quarterbacks are already gone by the time the Jaguars pick, I can’t think of a pick more suited for Jackson than in Jacksonville. He can compete for the staring job, and he can do everything they ask Blake Bortles to do now but at a higher level.
