The Pick: Tremaine Edmunds, LB, Virginia Tech
If not for Carson Wentz going down, the Eagles were likely the Super Bowl favorites. They could still win it when it’s all said and done and that’s because their roster is so well built.
If there is an area they can improve, it’s in the middle with their linebackers. Edmunds is a tackling machine who recoded 94 tackles in 2016 and 103 tackles in 2017. Edmunds is a rare 6-foot-5, 250 pounds for a linebacker. Edmunds is easily one of the most physical linebacker prospects in this draft and is arguably the best in tackling fundamentals, as well.
