No. 6 New York Jets (5-11)
The Pick: Josh Rosen, QB, UCLA
The California kid stays in the bright lights in this mock draft, but he’ll move from the lights of Los Angeles to the lights of New York city.
Let’s face it, if the Jets didn’t even have the confidence to start Christian Hackenberg when their season was lost at the end of 2017, they never will. Not only is his time done, but Bryce Petty’s should be as well, as he’s shown that he doesn’t have starting caliber talent, either. Rosen will step into an offense that is still growing, but he’ll be the focal point – that’s what’s important.
