The Tampa bay Buccaneers need help in the trenches badly. I’m sure the team would like to go pass rush here, as they finished dead last in the NFL in sacks in 2017, but with Bradley Chubb off the board, the pass rush class at the top isn’t strong beyond him.
Instead, the Bucs might have a chance to snag a player who many consider to be the best overall prospect in the draft at No. 7 in Notre Dame guard Quenton Nelson. Picking a guard in the Top 10 isn’t a sexy pick, but for the Buccaneers, it really might be the one they need the most. They might even have the luxury of draft Nelson, moving Marpet back to guard and having the best guard combo in the NFL.
