After the NFL decided to shorten the 2020 preseason from four games to two earlier in the week, a source now states that the NFL Players Association’s board has voted unanimously to eliminate this year’s preseason altogether amid the ongoing pandemic, per ESPN’s Dan Graziano.

According to the report, no official statements from the NFL have been made about the status of the league’s upcoming preseason and it’s unknown whether the league will take the union’s vote into consideration moving forward forward.

The vote took place during a conference call among NFLPA representatives on Thursday.
