Former Buccaneers Super Bowl Champion and NFL Hall of Famer Warren Sapp started a podcast series earlier this year called “ROUTE99”. In it, he talks football from all across the league.
This week was no different, in his latest episode (episode 16), but for Bucs fans it is worth listening to because Sapp gets into the Jameis Winston performance in Cincinnati, and the benching of him thereafter.
“There’s no defense for it,” Sapp said. “You look at the tape and you look at Jameis Winston, and I’ve been watching the young man since he got to Florida State… I looked at the tape with Jameis Winston… I did not recognize that quarterback who was sitting in the pocket… I cannot stand my ground with you here, brother.”
Sapp goes on from there and gets in-depth with his thoughts on Winston, as well as with the Bucs defense later in the show.
