FAB 4. Bucs’ Offseason Calendar
Phase 1 of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers offseason has begun with offseason workouts at AdventHealth Training Center at One Buccaneer Place, and April is always a very busy month for the team. This year is no exception with new head coach Bruce Arians.
Because so much Bucs news will be on the horizon over the coming weeks and months, I decided to lay out the team’s offseason calendar for you so you can stay tuned to PewterReport.com, @PewterReport on Twitter and follow the news on PewterReport.com’s Facebook page.
April 8-12: Bucs will announce their 2019 preseason schedule next week, including joint practice dates with the Miami Dolphins at One Buc Place. The preseason schedule announcement occurred last year on April 11.

April 9: The next media availability with Bucs players at One Buc Place with players being interviewed at the podium.
April 15-19: The NFL and the Bucs will announce their 2019 regular season schedule. This announcement occurred last year on April 18, one week after the preseason schedule was revealed.
April 16: Bucs general manager Jason Licht will hold a pre-draft press conference at One Buc Place for the media at the podium.
April 23-24: The Bucs will hold a pre-draft mini-camp in the afternoon on Tuesday and Wednesday. These practices will be open to the media, but not the general public, and there will be player interview availability afterwards, including press conferences with Arians on both days. PewterReport.com will be covering this mini-camp on the website and via the @PewterReport Twitter account.

April 25: The first round of the NFL Draft kicks off at 8:00 p.m. ET. PewterReport.com will provide extensive draft coverage through its Draft Videocast live from One Buc Place for the third year in a row. This year’s Draft Videocast is presented by Edmonson Electric and will begin at 7:00 p.m. ET. Stay tuned for an official announcement on PewterReport.com
April 26: A press conference for the Bucs’ first-round pick will be held prior to the start of the second day of the draft, which features the second and third round and begins at 7:00 p.m. ET.
April 27: The third and final day of the NFL Draft begins at 12:00 p.m. ET and features rounds 4-7.
May 1-31: Expect the team to announce this year’s inductee(s) for the Bucs Ring of Honor. This historically happens in May. Tony Dungy’s announcement occurred on May 8, 2018, while the announcement of Jon Gruden and Malcolm Glazer occurred on May 30, 2017. The only time the team deviated from announcing an inductee in May was in 2016 when John Lynch was announced on January 22, 2016 as the Bucs were trying to aid Lynch’s case to make the Pro Football Hall of Fame as the voting occurred at that time prior to the Super Bowl.

May 21: The Bucs’ fourth OTA will be open to the media to view, but closed to the public.
May 28: The Bucs’ seventh OTA will be open to the media to view, but closed to the public.
