• FALCONS SHOT DOWN BY STEPHEN A. SMITH: ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith had some harsh words for the Atlanta Falcons and head coach Dan Quinn, whom Smith called to be fired for Sunday’s debacle against Dallas. The Cowboys came roaring back in the last five minutes of the game and used a special teams gaffe by Atlanta to recover a key onside kick to win, 40-39, as the Falcons fall to 0-2 on the season.
