Usually when there is a walkthrough practice for the Bucs, there’s only so much information one can get from it. That, however, was not the case for this Wednesday as the Bucs prepare for their game against the Cardinals.
Quarterback is the big position of question heading into it. Baker Mayfield has an AC joint sprain on his left shoulder and his availability is in question for Sunday. During the portion of practice open to the media, Mayfield was out there with the team, but was just standing around.
A walkthrough practice was had by the #Bucs today.
Baker Mayfield was there, but mostly just stood around. Jamel Dean chilled, too.
The other most significant news was Haason Reddick returning. We haven’t seen him at practice in weeks.

It was backup quarterback Teddy Bridgewater who was lining up with the offense, making calls at the line of scrimmage and operating the group. Mayfield did not participate according to the injury report, and Todd Bowles said in his media session that Bridgewater would get most of the reps in practice during the week.
Outside of the quarterbacks, the biggest injury news was that outside linebacker Haason Reddick was seen for the first time in weeks. Reddick has not played since the Monday night loss to the Lions and wasn’t at any practice at all until Wednesday. While his numbers are down, getting Reddick back would be a huge addition for a group that has struggled with the pass rush up front.
