Uchenna Nwosu | South | 3-4 OLB | USC
Nwosu, at 6-2, 240, is a savvy edge rusher from a 3-4 formation who was called the heart of the USC defense. He’s a player who didn’t start until his final two years as a Trojan, but recored 12.5 sacks and 20.5 tackles for loss, more than half of which coming as a senior.
He’s a technically sound pass rusher who has a good motor to what he does. He sometimes struggles with offensive tackles, but anytime he’s lineup up against a running back in to block, he works them for an impact on the quarterback. We’re looking to see how well he can get by and get off true blockers in Mobile.
