Levi Wallace | South | CB | Alabama
Alabama cornerback Levi Wallace carries something with him every game he plays; a chip; a dream; his late father, Walter.
Wallace was a former walk-on for the Crimson Tide before being awarded a full scholarship after working his way onto the roster per his father’s request that it be something Wallace went after and gave his all for. He’s a redshirt senior who has had to work for the spot he’s earned, and that’s something worth noting.
Wallace, 6-foot, 185 pounds, is a small corner in stature, but he tends to make up for it with great technique and an overall savviness for the position. Wallace had three interceptions, two sacks and a touchdown this past season, his only season as a full-time starter.
Bucs fans know what it’s like to have a former college walk-on make an impact on the roster in Javien Elliott. Wallace getting a late look from the Buccaneers could be well worth it.
