Shaquem Griffin | South | LB | UCF
Shaquem Griffin is one of the best stories in college football. Brother of Seattle Seahawks safety Shaquill Griffin, Shaquem was born with a rare and unfortunate medical condition that forced doctors to amputate his hand at a young age. But, that never stopped him from playing football – including at the highest level.
Griffin, 6-foot-1, 233 pounds, has recorded 166 tackles, 33.5 tackles for loss and 18.5 over the last two years. Anyone who’s watched him has certainly thought at one point that his production was a cool story, but his hand will just be too limiting.
But it never was.
How high do you take one of the most productive linebackers in the country over the last two years who has only one hand? He’s likely not going to be draft before Day 3 of the 2018 NFL Draft, but how he performs at the Senior Bowl could go a long way into finding a team that will invest something in him.
