In a running back class that seems to be as deep as the Pacific Ocean with different kinds of talent, we keep finding gems.
Ito Smith is this year’s human joystick. At 5-foot-9, 195 pounds, your first response to seeing his height and weight should be “well, he better be athletic as hell.”
He is.
Smith rushed for over 4,500 yards in his college career, including three straight 1,000-yard seasons. He also recorded nearly 1,500 career receiving yards. Smith has the chance to put on a show in Mobile, and if he does, he’s a player the Bucs could take a chance on in the later rounds if nothing else but to have a special teams stud as well as be in some sort of running back rotation.
