There will be a lot of intruige and a lot of eyes on ASU’s Kalen Ballage during Senior Bowl week.

At 6-foot-3, 230 pounds, Ballage’s physical stature is eye popping. He’s has the size of a red zone, bulldozer back, but then there are times when you see him move laterally better than just that. That gets your mind going as to what could be with the ball in his hands in a full-time role.

But, then there’s his stats. If Ballage really was this hidden running back monster, he wouldn’t have four full season where he failed to rush for more than 700 yards in any of them. He scored 27 touchdowns on the ground during his college career, so he knows how to punch it in from shorter distances. But, can he be more than just a red zone and short yardage back? That’s what we’ll be trying to find out in Mobile.
