Former Bucs quarterback Tom Brady recently merged his TB12 brand with NoBull, making it one company under that latter’s name. At the 2024 NFL Combine, the attire worn by all the prospects at their media sessions and in various drills have been sponsored by NoBull.

As many know, there’s an infamous picture of Tom Brady at the 2000 NFL Combine, which looks less than flattering. He also ran the 40-yard dash of 5.28. Brady went on to get drafted 199th overall, but then won seven Super Bowls over his 23-year NFL career. As memorable as his success was, the Combine photo has followed him all these years later.
When the Bucs won Super Bowl LV with Brady, many of his teammates wore a t-shirt with his Combine photo during their boat parade. Defensive tackle Vita Vea and former Bucs inside linebacker Kevin Minter were among several player to wear it.
Tom Brady Runs The 40-Yard Dash Again
So, with Tom Brady as a figurehead of NoBull and NoBull being everywhere at the NFL Combine, what better way to market it than recreating and paying homage to that with another 40-yard dash?
On a vacant field in Miami, Brady ran the 40-yard dash for the first time in 24 years. It was posted by himself and the NFL’s social media account. Although Brady is 46 years old and way older than when he originally ran it at 22, he miraculously had a faster time this time around than he did back then.

It’s unofficial, but the people timing it have Brady clocking in at 5.18 on one timer and 5.12 on another. From the eye itself, one can see that the elder Brady was quicker than his younger self, thanks to this video:

Tom Brady had 1,123 rushing yards in the regular season and 136 postseason rushing yards for his NFL career. As a Buc, he recorded 86 rushing yards and -3 rushing yards in the playoffs in his three seasons. His best rushing year was in 2021, when he hit 81 on the season. His most memorable run was perhaps a third-down scramble for 10 yards in a Monday Night Football win over the Giants. Brady also had six rushing touchdowns as a Buc and one more in the postseason as well.

He didn’t run too often, but when he did, it made for a spectacle. Brady’s playing days might be over, but luckily we can still see him in athletic events.
