As exciting as the Bucs’ 38-3 win over the Bears was last Sunday, the best part of the day was a moment shared by 10-year old brain cancer survivor Noah Reeb and quarterback Tom Brady.

An illness like that is scary at any age, but for it to occur to a child of just 10 years old is unimaginable. Thankfully, Reeb has courageously defeated this horrific disease.

Reeb received a video from Brady with some words of encouragement during his fight. It’s a video that Reeb’s parents said he’s watched over 100 times while in the hospital receiving treatment.

On Sunday, Reeb was able to attend the Bucs home game against the Bears, bringing a special sign with him.

“Tom Brady helped me beat brain cancer.”

With the game in hand late in the fourth quarter, Brady found Noah in the stands, gave him his hat and shook his hand. Reeb was overwhelmed with happiness and emotion following the exchange with his favorite player. Tears started running down his face.

Reeb and his parents appeared on Inside The NFL on Tuesday, where he was interviewed by James Brown and shared his experience meeting Brady.

“It was crazy,” Reed said. “I was so blessed, so grateful. As soon as he looked at me I started to cry.”
