The Bucs are set to play their 50th season as an NFL franchise in 2025. And as of Wednesday, the 50th season has officially begun, with the team returning to the AdventHealth Training Center for the start of training camp.

There’s plenty in store from the Bucs to celebrate 50 seasons this year, and of course, we’ve already done some content here at Pewter Report in celebration of the team’s’ 50th season. That includes the drafting of our Bucs all-time teams, as well as the unveiling of Pewter Report’s Top 50 Bucs of all time.

Not only that, but we also have a new Throwback Thursday-type series covering 50 memorable games in Bucs history. Over on the PewterReportTV YouTube channel, Pewter Report’s Bailey Adams is journeying through some of the most iconic games, moments and performances in franchise history. This is a chronological journey began back on July 3, and now we’re on to Part 4 of this 10-part series that leads all the way up to the first Thursday in September.

Last week, we covered games 11-15, which fell between 1998 and 2000. The series rolls on this week with the next five games, and this is where the list is condensed, as we pick back up in 2000 and get into the 2003 calendar year. Considering this was the first golden era of football in Tampa Bay, it’s no surprise that it’ll take a couple of weeks to get through the most memorable games and moments of the late 1990s and early 2000s.
