Latest Bucs Headlines

Bucs quarterback Tom Brady was announced as the co-cover athlete for latest installment of Madden football video game franchise. Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes, whom he shares the cover with, has already been announced as part of the “99 Club.” Today the rest of the quarterback position player ratings came out on Friday with Brady, the Super Bowl LV MVP landing the second-highest rating at his position with a 97. The 97 rating has Brady tied with several players for a spot as a Top 10-rated player in the game.

Brady has been campaigning to have his speed rating improved for years. He did so this season with a creative commercial that had Bucs inside linebacker Devin White chime in.

The Bucs had several players land in the Top 10 of their respective positions. Wide receiver Mike Evans came in at nine in his position group. Rob Gronkowski was rated seventh amongst tight ends. While nose tackle Vita Vea rounded out his position grouping.

EA Sports did not announce the inside linebacker position, but one would assume Lavonte David and White would have fairly high ratings as well.

Notable snubs for Top 10 teams include Shaq Barrett and Jason Pierre-Paul in the edge rusher group and Carlton Davis III in the cornerback group. One could make a case for Antoine Winfield, Jr. at the safety position, too. It’s interesting to note that Scotty Miller also failed to land in the Top 10 of the speed ratings for wide receivers.
