With training camp officially underway, not only does it mean football is back but also the release of the “newest” Madden Football game is on the horizon. As EA Sports starts to unveil it’s “99 Club”, player rankings will begin to trickle out starting today with wide receivers. Bucs star wideout Mike Evans was rated as the ninth best receiver this year with a 91. Coming in behind Michael Thomas, Keenan Allen and Amari Cooper.
Top 10 WRs on Madden NFL 22:
Davante Adams: 99
DeAndre Hopkins: 98
Tyreek Hill: 98
Stefon Diggs: 97
Julio Jones: 95
Michael Thomas: 94
Keenan Allen: 93
Amari Cooper: 92
Mike Evans: 91
Allen Robinson: 90— Ari Meirov (@MySportsUpdate) July 26, 2021
The 91 rating is a step down from Evans’ 92 rating he received in 2020. He also dropped down from eighth to ninth on the overall list. After becoming the only receiver in NFL history to start his career with seven 1000 yard season, fans will surely have something to say about it. These rankings are highly debated not just amongst users of the game but also NFL players.
Evans made NFL history last year when he recorded his seventh straight season with 1,000 yards receiving. That broke a tie with Hall of Famer Randy Moss, as both players had six as of last year before Evans posted 1,006 yards in 2020.
The highly anticipated game that will feature his teammate Tom Brady on the cover in 2021. Bucs wide receiver Chris Godwin, who is the team’s franchise player this year, did not crack the Top 10.
