While it was mostly good news for the Bucs on Wednesday with three of their starters returning to practice, the one big question was Antonio Brown, who was with a crutch while observing practice.
When Bruce Arians was asked how long Brown could be out for, he really couldn’t give a timetable. It could be one week or for a long time.
According to a report from Greg Auman from The Athletic, the Bucs won’t be placing Brown on the injured reserve list, which is certainly beneficial. Going on the IR means a player won’t be able to participate in a minimum of three games. This could indicate that Brown will be available before that.
Bucs have no plans to place Antonio Brown on injured reserve. Dealing with ankle injury but not significant enough to require time on IR. Any reports to the contrary are incorrect.

The Bucs also have a bye next week that will help Brown with his recovery. In the meantime, the Bucs will go with Mike Evans and Chris Godwin as their main targets at receiver with Tyler Johnson getting more snaps as the third option.
