The second day of the 2018 Senior Bowl was much colder, weather wise, than the first day – that made for less-than-ideal watching conditions for this Florida boy. However, though the weather outside may have cooled down, some of the top players at the Senior Bowl did not. There were even a few new names that came to the forefront of our attention as possible Bucs targets from Mobile, AL.

SO CAL BUC FAN

I’ve been saying for 3 weeks that Davenport is going to be a situational pass rusher at first till he bulks up! He has gotten swallowed up in the run game!…. Watch tape it’s there~

Now that’s more like it a defensive lineman from Ohio St that’s already got an NFL body at 6-4 280 lbs that can play inside, and out. We already know he’s been coached up by Schiano who’s gone on record saying his state D line has more talent then the Bucs D line. We criticized him for saying it, turns out he was right. Go after better talent from big time programs when drafting high, take fliers on questionable picks in the later rounds or with undrafted players.

So Cal fan, I don’t know why you got more thumbs down, then up. I’ve been watching Davenport all week on NFL network, and you’re right! There’s nothing worth using the 7th over all pick on.

Because any time Pewter Report profiles a player folks fall in love and he becomes a “must have” Draft option. Yes, we all know DE is a serious need, but we can’t afford to select a project 3rd down pass rusher at # 7. Just ask Eagle fan about Mike Mamula.

I love Corners Minkah Fitzpatrick and Joshua Jackson from Iowa both are play makers and we are also desperate at corner so would love to grab one of those guys at #7. If Sequan Barkely happened to fall to us you have to take him cause he is a special player that only comes around every so often
