In an offseason that has been filled with the Buccaneers taking care of their own, the latest to get their new contract is safety Keith Tandy, who signed a two-year deal with the Bucs on Wednesday.

Tandy has been with the Buccaneers since 2012 where he was selected in the sixth round of the 2012 NFL draft.

Tandy has been an off-and-on starter for the Buccaneers, most notable at the end of the 2016 campaign where his key interceptions boosted the Buccaneers to wins over the Chargers, Saints and Panthers. Due to injury and additions to the roster, Tandy didn’t see much playing time in 2017, but he will likely get a better shot at that, and a chance to build off his 2016 season, in 2018.
