The Tampa Bay Buccaneers may have been left off the NFL Network’s Top 100 players list for the first time ever this year, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t getting any recognition at all heading into 2018.
One of the Buccaneers’ opponents this season is the Dallas Cowboys, and Bryan Broaddus, writer for Cowboys.com, says that McCoy is one of the five best defensive tackles the Cowboys will face all season.
"When he hits the gap, hard guy to reach or cut off block due to his strength."
Today we look at Gerald McCoy who lands a spot in @BryanBroaddus' top 5 DT list that the #DallasCowboys will face in this year's schedule.➡️ https://t.co/MoYjchskxN pic.twitter.com/rhTJQtyrTi

“McCoy has been a Pro Bowler each of the last six years, and this season he’ll be joined on the line by Jason Pierre-Paul, Vita Vea and Vinny Curry – all of whom were acquired in 2018.,” Broaddus said. “McCoy was a problem in his own right, but the Buccaneers’ entire defensive line looks formidable heading into this season.”
