The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have announced a new partnership with Florida Hospital, which will now be turning over its name to Advent Health. The Bucs and Advent Health have agreed on a 10-year deal that gives Advent Health the naming rights to both the team’s new indoor practice facility as well as the business offices.

The building’s formerly known as One Buc Place is no more. While the address remains the same, the facility is officially known as the Advent Health Training Facility. A major part of this deal is to continue both side’s work in the community to promote their investment in the health and wellness of future generations of people. This includes educational classes and videos.

To announce and commemorate the occasion, a ceremony was held outside of the facility for partners and media. A celebratory drumline got things started as members of Advent Health and the Bucs front office  made their way to their seats by the podium. Next up, co-chairman of the Bucs Bryan Glazer spoke followed by president and CEO of Advent Health Mike Schultz.

“This has been a long time coming” Glazer said. “We have waited for the right partner, and the Advent Health name is the right one. On what made Advent Health the correct choice there were numerous reasons as to why. “Community vision in terms of health and wellness, that’s a lot of what we do, preaching to the community with our players getting out there and talking about things” Glazer said. “ That’s really one of the most important things is to talk about is our kids and adults being healthy and well. It’s good for everybody.”

Mr. Schultz reiterated the same sentiments as Glazer.

“We want to make a meaningful difference and lasting impact in the health and wellness of this community” Schultz said. “This partnership bolsters the strength and ability we have to do that. Our founding principal has been on health and wellness. It’s a great opportunity.”

At the end of the ceremony the unveiling was made showing the new Advent Health logo on the training center. Fireworks blasted off as people cheered in celebration for the new name. This 10-year partnership has made way for more events to now happen at the Advent Health Training Facility.
