One of the elements of that plan is to keep the guys you drafted that you know are good, and as of Tuesday, that is the case with Buccaneers’ offensive guard Ali Marpet, who signed a 6-year extension with the franchise.

Per Mike Garafolo, Marpet’s new extension is for $55 million with $27.125 million guaranteed.

PewterReport.com has confirmed that Marpet will average $10.825 mil per year.
