How the Gerald McCoy saga came to an end in Tampa Bay is well documented. Both parties said that there was no bad blood involved, but there have been hints that maybe that isn’t the whole truth in the matter.
At Panthers training camp this weekend, Carolina quarterback Cam Newton added some wood to that fire with a little shot at the Bucs saying “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure”, with his arm around McCoy, likely referencing the Bucs moving on from McCoy and the Panthers picking him up.
