When the news came out on Tuesday that the Buccaneers and quarterback Tom Brady has reached a deal, excitement went through the roof in the Tampa Bay Area.
But as time went on, and an official announcement wasn’t released, fans started getting nervous. Bucs fans know all about being jilted by players and coaches in year’s past and feared there could be an issue with the deal happening.
PewterReport.com was able to verify through a league source late Wednesday evening there was no reason for concerns and the only major hangup was getting a physical. With Covid-19 fears and government-placed mandates on gatherings, making this happening has been challenging.
On Thursday morning NFL reporter Jeff Darlington confirmed that all was well and a physical was expected to be completed on Thursday.
No concern over finding a doctor to perform Tom Brady’s physical. He’s able to make that happen today in New York. It would be ideal if it was the Bucs’ team doctors — but these are unprecedented times and everyone is on the same page. Everything is moving along just fine.
